Dr. Alexander Valverde R.
Dr. Alexander Valverde R. is a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology, a graduate of the University of Costa Rica, with a subspecialty in spine surgery recognized by the Costa Rican College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2017. He completed international training as an AO Spine Fellow at Hospital Cajuru in Curitiba, Brazil.
Throughout his career he has held professional leadership positions, including President of the Costa Rican Association of Orthopedics and Traumatology and President of the Costa Rica Spine Chapter of AO Spine Latin America. He has also taken part as a speaker and organizer in national and international congresses in the specialty, and in university postgraduate training in orthopedics and traumatology.
He currently sees patients at Hospital Clínica Bíblica and Hospital Clínica Católica, with an approach focused on the individual assessment of each patient and the recovery of their function.
